Please try put in some of your own effort, this really is not too difficult and all the information you need is on this page.

I appreciate your understanding and If you are still really stuck let me know and I will help.

Here are some guides for common email clients:

Email settings for user@domain.com (substitute user and domain for your email address, for example: simon@skatz.co,za)

    • Email address: user@domain.com
    • Server type: POP / POP3 / IMAP
    • Username: user@domain.com
    • Incoming mail server: mail.domain.com
    • Outgoing mail server: mail.domain.com
    • Outgoing mail server requires authentication (Found in "More Settings" in Outlook. Don't confuse this with a secure SSL connection)
    • Outgoing mail server port: 587 (Found in "More Settings" / "Advanced")
    • Coming soon: Enter your email address and get your exact settings

    Gmail

    • I also recommend you setup your email in Gmail instead of an offline email client like Outlook
      • You only need to set this up once, ever. (Less trouble for you in the future and less bugging me for help too)
      • You will never lose any emails, even if your computer crashes
      • The emails you have received/read/sent will be synced with all the devices you access your email with
      • It is free!
    • Yes you can use your own email address/domain in gmail (user@domain.com, for example: simon@skatz.co.za)
    • You can send/receive email with multiple email addresses
    • You can easily use custom image or text signature for each email address
    • If you are not using Gmail as your email client, I at least highly suggest you create a Gmail account and forward all your mail to it, this will ensure you never lose any of your mail!
    • Suggested Gmail setup:
      • Simpler setup
        • Under "Settings/Accounts and Import" add your email account under "Check mail from other accounts"
        • You will not receive push emails with this setup (you will not receive the emails instantaneously, Gmail has to keep checking your mail box every few minutes)
        • The more emails you receive the more frequent Gmail will check your mail box
      • More advanced setup
        • Setup a "Mail Forwarder" on your hosting server to automatically forward mail you receive to your Gmail email address (user@gmail.com)
        • Under "Settings/Account and Import" add your email account under "Send mail as"
        • You will receive your email instantaneously now
      • Useful "Labs" plugins for Gmail to make it feel more like a traditional email client
        • Multiple Inboxes (Most useful in my opinion)
        • Mark as read button
        • Unread message icon
        • Preview Pane (Unfortunately it does not work yet with Multiple Inboxes, I chose Multiple inboxes over this)
        • Undo Send
        • Under "General Settings" (Not Labs), you can enable "Desktop notifications"
      • Labels
        • You can create labels to organize your emails (this replaces traditional folders)
        • This allows you to quickly and easily bring up certain emails
        • I suggest at least creating a label for each email address you use
        • You can also apply multiple labels to an email
      • Filters
        • You can apply many filters (actions) to incoming mail
        • These can be setup to apply labels automatically to incoming email
        • Or to have certain emails skip your inbox (archived)
      • Spam
        • Gmail does a pretty good job of catching spam email
        • But it does mark some non spam emails as spam, so you do need to check your Spam label every now and then
        • If email from a certain user is repeatably being marked as spam, add them to your contacts and they won't be marked as spam going forward
